This started as a reply to a friend’s blog.  And then I got caught in the moment.  I’ve had a lot of culture shockiness on my mind recently, and I think this helped to heal. Saturday night I landed myself in the ER, interrupting a nice family dinner.  Screaming. Writhing.  Wishing that my monkey brain would kick in its protection triggers and knock me out cold so I couldn’t feel anymore.   I have never, in my life, wanted to feel nothing before.  In fact, it goes against my whole life mantra. The rest of the week I spent in bed. Idle. I hate being idle.
